Relationships of all sorts move towards the front burner this week. Saturday brings a New Moon in Libra, the energizing sun, friendly Moon, Venus, and verbal Mercury are already in Libra, and Mars joins them I Libra on Thursday.

Libra, the sign of the balancing scales, talks about justice, the law, questions of social justice, open warfare, and the relationship of all equals. We feel the Libra energy field anyplace two people, or two groups of people, look at each other square in the eye across the table and relate, whether romantic partnerships, great friends, worthy adversaries, business partnerships or helpful consultants. Libra calls us to balance those scales. Support a fair and equitable society everywhere. With this Libra lineup were all people are unusually sensitive to rough edges. Uncomfortably abraded by harsh words, unfairness or ugliness at home or in the streets.

This weekend’s New Moon in Libra is a good time to start a new cycle in our relationships of all kinds, so let’s think about what we’d like initiate. Start a new pattern of creative collaborations. Pour buckets of gratitude on all our friendships. Let’s look at romantic partners with fresh eyes and see them as they are now.
