Just in time for our September 11th observations, notice a cloud of feeling, vulnerability, and confusing circumstances as the Sun opposed sensitive Neptune under an emotionally tender Cancer Moon. These aspects can underline whatever makes us feel vulnerable, helping us empathize with those chased out of their home by wildfire, feeling overwhelmed by Covid precautions, facing the tensions churning in our cities, those flooded with memories of 9/11/01, or dealing with some more personal tenderness.

Objectivity will be thin on the ground. Since our hopes and fears, and imagination, run strong with the Sun opposes Neptune, our collective thinking may get fuzzy, idealistic, or deeply lost in a conspiracy theory, as these are all Neptunian traits. let’s feel those feelings, imagine what a better future could be, but check our facts before making any assumptions. It’s easy to see when others are caught in their illusions, but we need to also check where we’re caught in our own. Remember hopelessness is as much an illusion as an easy answer.

This Neptune opposition can also just make us sleep, which is good for resting up if we’re tired. Smoke or storm or some more existential fog can make it hard to see where we’re going for day or two.
