This week the stars give us hints of the next chapter even though we still have work to do on this one. First, we need to take things seriously and knuckle down to the details as Mercury squares responsible Saturn for the third time this month on Friday where it encourages us to complete, finish, hammer out the details, and count the votes.

Some issue, oh, like voting, that we’ve been wrestling with since mid-September, and which came to a head early last week as retrograde Mercury conjunct Saturn, pivoted direct on election day, need to be resolved as Mercury inches forward to perfect a square to Saturn again today and Saturday. This aspect has put a lot of strain on our minds, our larger communities, and our interpersonal communication with the heaviness of these decisions hanging in the balance. Mars retrograde in Aries keeps the will to fight very close to the surface now as it opposes Venus, and through the end of January, funnily enough, when it first turns direct and then begins to square Pluto, Jupiter, Saturn-again, and completes the cycle when its conjuncts Uranus on Inauguration Day.

Also, this weekend, Jupiter conjuncts Pluto for a third and final pass this year; the first two passes occurred synchronous with the last two major Covid spikes, in early April and again at the end of June. The pandemic, and potentially other problems endemic to this year, may get…
