May brings the Venus-ruled steady and sensuous earth sign of Taurus asks us to attend to things of the body: our health, surroundings, our stuff and our garden. Feed the senses and enjoy the budding trees, feel life returning after a long lockdown year. The Sun, Venus, and Uranus are all in Taurus as the weekend begins, and Tuesday brings the year’s most fertile New Moon in Taurus.

Taurus helps us value steadiness and reliability, we don’t really want to be hurried right now. Like roots growing into the ground, give us some time. But this Taurus line-up also can bring a bull-like anger in response to people who have been irresponsible. We want follow through.

Jupiter and Saturn are now in in relatively responsible Aquarius and help keep our thoughts on the big picture. We may be more self-protective than assertive right now with Mars in Cancer, really appreciate those that work for our well-being while we are easily ticked off by those who drop the ball or ignore our boundaries.

As the weekend begins, we may want to do what we want to do and drag our feet at anything else. While generally in a friendly mood once we get set off our opinions and reactions can be intense under a feisty Aries Moon. Most of us will just have the energy we need, but some of us could act out and throw real fits.
