It’s a great time for a long holiday weekend, we could all use some time off. It’s been a long year and the deck is loaded with wildcards. What we thought we were doing, may not be so. Some short-term agenda, problems and gifts that weren’t even on our radar could demand attention and shift our schedule. We are now between a solar and a lunar eclipse which shakes things up and unblocks blocked energy, for better or for worse.

Mental Mercury appears to slow down to turn retrograde this weekend and slows us down in the process. Mercury in Gemini tends to buzz busily, but now it squares Neptune, a sleepy, confusing, fuzzy-thinking aspect, which was exact last week, will be exact again next week as Mercury retrogrades back, and then make a third pass in early July as it turns direct again. It will further to take lots of naps, just note carefully when you are dreaming, and when you are not.

When retrograde Mercury deals us a wildcard, it could be a joke/joker, or could signal some completely unexpected event. Let’s look at this change not as a step off our path, just an unexpected part of what we’re here to do and learn.
