Remember and share stories on this Memorial Day weekend. The underground rivers run strong in our soul, psyche, in the collective mind. Whether it is the dead children in Texas and/or a more personal trigger, some Plutonian event, some brush with power, death, significance causes our hearts to ache and inspires deep thinking, long talks, and hopefully some concrete action.

The weekend starts out moody and deep as emotional Venus in Aries squares intense Pluto on Friday, and calls us to honor our grief and concerns. Mercury trines Pluto exactly this weekend but stays in orb through mid-June. Let the feelings flow through and assess what needs to be done to improve the situation.

Along with those deep feelings and intense conversations, the week may be logistically wacky as we head into the New Moon in Gemini with Gemini’s ruler, Mercury, still retrograde. A sensible response to this logistical wackiness along with strong emotions would be to slow down and simplify our lives. But we may find this hard to do as Mars and Jupiter conjunct in Aries on Sunday and loans us a burst of energy, competition, minor explosions, and potentially strange impulses. The energy flashes and dissipates quickly unless we feed the fire. We may see incredible acts of heroism or choose to start a revolution, but could also find it all too easy to start a project and get distracted by a passing…
