We enter the heart of Leo season as Venus joins the Sun in Leo on Saturday. It’s time to be sybaritic, peel our grapes and float in the water, and have long leisurely post-sunset dinners on the porch. Engage the gracious generosity of Leo to be hospitable. Enjoy the Leo panache as it adds an extra glow to performance arts and all the fruits of culture.

Soak it up, because the rest of life may take some patience This is the last week of Mercury retrograde, and the Mercury retrograde follies tend to thicken right before it turns direct. Mercury stations, or appears to hold still in the sky as it prepares to turn direct next Wednesday. Along with this slowdown, activating Mars forms challenging quincunx to both Saturn and Neptune and adds to this frustration. Misunderstandings, miscalculations, drifting attention, and technical and mechanical snafus; the dings and boomerangs of outrageous fortune can begin to pile up and wear us down.

Add to this the propensity to take things personally, and with a melodramatic flare, and it could be a fun week. With the Sun and Venus both in Leo this week we’ll tend to think and speak and hyperbole. It’s not just bad, it’s the worst, it’s not just good, it’s fabulous. This Leo line up can bring over-the-top melodramatic, and sometimes fabricated, comments to our newsfeed, we can enjoy while taking it all with a grain of salt.
