The dramatic comet Neowise is now visible in the northwestern evening skies, growing invisibility until Thursday’s peak. It was named for the NASA mission that identified it, the Near-Earth Object Wide-field Infrared Survey Explorer, but this acronym- Neowise — also implies an infusion of new wisdom. May it be so.
