It’s a great week to laze about in the Sun and putter in the garden, to quarantine with nature. Anything else could get complicated, though we may have a lot to do anyway. Mars, now in activated Aries, revs our engines and impatiently pushes us forward while our brains and our plans can feel stuck in honey or spiral in place as mental Mercury stations and pivots direct on Sunday after three weeks retrograde. Let’s pace ourselves, enjoy occasional bursts of energy or motivation, watch our temper, and watch where we’re going. By the end of the week our momentum improves.

Mars creates a pool of emotional fuel while it lingers in Aries through the next six months. Like a can of psychic gasoline, when we tap into it with clear direction this Mars can fuel our engines and help us get the work done. It loans us bravery to tackle tough odds, explore and accomplish, though we can still feel lazy as a cat in sunshine between bursts. It lowers our impulse control and shortens our patience. We can twitch with impatience if we feel delayed or thwarted, and wind up quickly when we feel anxious. For the next six months, feel free to swear colorfully when a toe is stubbed, but before snapping at another, breathe: a quick, sharp, impatient word can light a match near that tank of gasoline. If any situation becomes volatile, it pays to get out and let the air clear.
