Visualize a green shoot pushing up through gritty melting snow, brave enough to risk a whole new cycle. We’re at that delicate time of year, the grimy late winter right before spring’s rebirth, and this image echoes the astrological overlap between the late winter Pisces low-energy dreaminess and sensitive awareness into the oncoming brash, fresh, Aries energy. On a bad day this overlap can bring confrontation between vulnerable people and bullying energy, on a good day it pours fresh energy into new dreams.
We might get a rocky start to spring this year. On one side the stars encourage us to be aware of our vulnerability in the face of politics and bird flu with the Sun, Moon, Mercury, Saturn, and Neptune all now in permeable Pisces as the weekend begins. The recent New Moon in Pisces might have gifted us with a new vision statement to direct our efforts but left us foggy. While this Piscean fog is great for writing fiction or deepening spiritual practice, or for just catching up with ourselves, it can leave us permeable to the collective mindset. Their angst is ours. Let’s make sure what we absorb is grounded in fact- or be conscious that we are processing the collective concern.
